Fancy taking part in a giant scavenger hunt around Dubai?
Dubai Cares and Dubai Culture have teamed up to create a massive version of the outdoor party game, which will run from 8th-29th January across the city. It’s a chance to get outdoors, explore the emirate and win some pretty cool prizes.
What are we looking for?
A total of 15 lightbulbs designed by artist and designers from around the UAE and inspired by values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nayhan – like happiness, peace and trust – have been hidden around Dubai.
On it. What do we need to do?
Download the Dubai Cares app to get access to 15 different challenges that can be solved with the help of three hints. Once you’ve sussed the location, head there and scan the QR code to unlock the next challenge.

Prizes for the first three teams to complete all the challenges include passes for Dubai Parks & Resorts, a AED 3,000 Dubai Mall voucher or a two night-stay for two at the Palazzo Versace Hotel.
Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Cares, said: “Together with our partner, Dubai Culture, we are incredibly excited to kick off 2018, the Year of Zayed, with an exciting new initiative that pushes boundaries in terms of what the community expects from Dubai Cares.
“This initiative goes beyond the traditional concept of a scavenger hunt, as it promotes the work of locally based artists, provides an opportunity to explore and learn more about Dubai, offers members of the community a chance to take part in an exciting adventure as well as revisit common values that distinguish us.”
