Two days of yoga by the beach sounds like weekend goals to us. XYoga Dubai returns with new classes, a new location and more famous faces from the world of yoga.
Sports fanatics XDubai launched the annual yoga jam in 2016 and it has encouraged thousands to try complimentary classes and workshops.
XYoga returns for 2018 on the 16th-17th March to a new base at Kite Beach, with a programme of sunrise to sundown classes that more than 10,000 people are expected to attend. As well as the chance to bend and stretch on the sand in front of the iconic Burj Al Arab, there will also be sessions with 35 international yogis, including the world’s oldest yoga instructor, 99-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch.
The festival opens with a mass morning beach yoga session for 1,500 yogis on Friday, 16th March at 8am. Lots of different yoga styles will be represented across the weekend, including Sri Sri, Yin, Art Therapy, and Arabic language classes. There’ll also be the chance to shop local and international yoga brands and enjoy health food and drinks.
Mohammed Javad, from XDubai, said: ““XYoga Dubai is truly an event for all, whether you’re a beginner or expert or whether it’s your calling or simply your way to disconnect and relax.”
Although it’s a free and inclusive event for all ages and abilities, registration is a must at xyogadubai.com
