Dim sum literally translates as ‘touch heart’ and we have definitely eaten so much that it did.
It touches our hearts to know that Thai Chi in WAFI makes all its dim sum fresh in-house. Head Chef Lee Sam Khoy is in charge of parcelling up those steamed and fried dumplings of joy, plus all the other tasty plates coming out of the kitchen.
At Thai Chi two restaurants – one Thai, one Chinese – combine under one roof, removing so the agony of indecision, providing you’ve managed to narrow your dining tastes down to two fabulous countries of cuisine.
On Friday, the kitchen of two halves steps up a gear and turns out unlimited dim sum all afternoon. From custard buns with salted egg yolk and shrimp balls, to chicken gyoza and radish cake, take your fill. For AED 250, accompany this feast of small eats with unlimited grape. Those who prefer a lighter afternoon can pair their dim sum with tea for the traditional yum cha experience, at AED 120.
Take advantage of this offer for three hours between 12pm-3pm, every Friday from 14th September. Those who win our competition don’t even need to fret about payment, as we have two vouchers to give away for one lucky winner to treat a friend.
Thai Chi at WAFI opens daily 12.30pm-3pm and 7pm-12am. Can’t wait to see if you’re a winner? Call 04 324 4100 to reserve your table.
