However long you’ve been in Dubai, our Fountain never fails to impress, whether its powerful water jets are swaying to ‘Skyfall’ or spraying along to ‘Sama Dubai’.
Now new floating platform The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk will allow visitors to walk on water and see one the world’s largest performing fountains from closer than ever before.
Stroll down the 272-metre boardwalk from nearby Burj Park or Fountain Promenade and at the closest points, you’ll be just nine metres from the impressive jets of water and in the perfect place for some #soDubai social media fodder.
Lit by gently glowing blue orbs, the boardwalk across the 30-acre Burj Lake is safely secured and hopefully splashback from the 2,000 gallons of water that shoot as high as 150 metres in the air will be minimal.
Open between 5pm-11pm every day (the fountain starts at 6pm), entry to the Boardwalk is AED 20 per person and anyone over four is welcome.
Tickets are available at the Fountain Promenade, Burj Park and At the Top, Burj Khalifa ticket counters. They can also be pre-booked on www.burjkhalifa.ae
