For those of us that enjoy München on European speciality meats and knocking back ein or zwei steins of traditional German hops, Oktoberfest really lets us live our best lives.
But it’s more than the incredible food and drink; it’s the chance for frauleins to get dressed up in drindls and plaits and for lads to clad themselves in lederhosen. Then there’s the entertainment; the big brass oompah bands and merry sing-a-longs. It’s just the (teu)tonic after a long summer.
