No need to splash out on this epic water adventure.

From Thursday (4th April), ‘Art Meets Water’ at The Beach by Meeras brings 14 days of aqua-themed fun. There’ll be stunning decorations, drumming workshops, daring ‘bubble’ acrobats and an arts hub for kids to get creative in.
If you’re reluctant to cut off from the virtual world, the interactive Virtual Reality gaming zone, in The Courtyard next to Laduree, is where you’ll want to head. Spend AED 200 at any of The Beach’s outlets and places to eat, then bring your receipt for access and get gaming.
If the little ones in your family tag along, they keep them occupied at the dip dye art station next to Sammy Green salon, where they can decorate t-shirts, socks, and caps (all provided, parents).
On Friday and Saturday (5th and 6th April), bring tissues and watch free screenings of new heart-tugging animation Dumbo at the Roxy Cinema.
Watch out for mesmerising water decorations around the outdoor destination, and look-out for pop-up stalls with face painting and balloon giveaways.
Thursday, 4th April-Saturday, 20th April. The Beach, Jumeirah. Entry to most activations is free. Minimum AED 200 spend for the VR gaming zone, which is open 10am-10pm daily. Full schedule at www.thebeach.ae
