Lowdown: 100 per cent natural fresh fruits converted to 100 per cent yummy ice-creams that are sweet but never sickly. With most of the flavours based on seasonal fruits, there’s always something to try. We love custard apple, yoyo coconut, mango madness and cheeky chickoo flavours. Yep, we’ve tried a few.

Lowdown: Everyone loves fresh, juicy mangoes. Everyone loves soft, gooey cakes. But what if we told you that you could enjoy the best of both in one dessert? Take a bite of the mango mousse cake at Bakemart Gourmet (formerly known as Bakemart Plus) and you’ll find that it tastes even better than it looks.

Lowdown: To keep us cool in the summer, these food wizards have recreated one of our favourite fantasy soft drinks from the silver screen. The Inventing Room team obviously came top of their potions class because the combination of butterscotch soda, vanilla ice cream and exploding whipped cream is enough to make you huff ‘n’ puff. We’re deadly Sirrius. Pair it frozen Cheetos (AED 15) to really unleash your dragon for the Insta.
Kulfi Falooda, Kulfilicious

Lowdown: Best known for its amazing kulfi, Kulfilicious also serves some of the best faloodas in town. Beat the heat with this rollercoaster of a traditional Indian dessert, in a cornucopia of flavours, from the fruit-laden to the chocolate heavy and everything in between. For a lighter dessert, slurp on one of Kuliflicious’ colourful ice-lollies.
No-bake Nutella Cheesecake, Sugaholic

Lowdown: Get that sugar fix with Sugaholic’s signature cheesecake, made with yummy Nutella, on a base of crispy biscuits, topped with whipped cream and an Oreo biscuit. The soft, crunchy feeling from your first bite will stay with you long after you have hogged the whole lot. Sugaholic also excels in really cute customisable cupcakes, macaroons and cake pops.
Quinoa Kheer, Taj Hotel

Lowdown: Looking for a healthy dessert option? The master chefs at Bombay Brasserie have re-created the traditional vermicelli kheer with orange-infused quinoa and milk. Suffused with superfood goodness, it’s so guilt-free that it’s pretty much salad. Almost.
