Eat your way into the weekend as Jumeirah’s mini-food festival returns for one night only.
Big Bite Out at Madinat Jumeirah returns on Thursday (1st March) with a refined recipe of the format that made it so popular at the inaugural event in October – the chance to eat around the best restaurants of Madiant Jumeirah.
Following feedback from guests, this year’s eat-a-thon has less moving around and more eating, but still the same inclusive price of AED 395. This year a stand-out five restaurants are taking part, so you try seafood at Rockfish, Jumeirah Al Naseem; Mexican at Tortuga Jumeirah Mina A’Salam; Chinese at Zheng He’s in Jumeirah Mina A’Salam; Lebanese, Spanish and American at Khaymat Al Bahar, Al Hambra and plenty of meat The Hide in Jumeirah Al Qasr.
Food is served non-stop from 7pm-11pm and can’t-miss dishes on offer include freshly shucked Fines de Claire oysters at Rockfish; a tower of five different dim sum at Zheng He’s and a huge bonfire cooking S’mores at The Hide. Want more? Dig in to zesty ceviche at Tortuga, and homemade lukimat at Khaymat Al Bahar. The price also includes selected beverages in restaurants taking part.
This time around, guests can choose which restaurant they would like to start at, where they can sit down and enjoy signature dishes cooked at live cooking stations for as much time as they like.
We’re also promised cooler weather and bigger portions, with an easier route throughout the resort. Although along that route walking is encouraged (to make space for more food) guests can then hop on a buggy or an abra to head to the next restaurant.
Those who make it through all six restaurants will get a free beverage at the after-party at Shimmers beach bar at Jumeirah Mina A ‘Salam.
