Dig out the stretchy pants and clear your diary – Dubai Food Festival is back.
From 21st February to 9th March, food-focused events and deals will be cooking up all around Dubai.
Back on the menu are favourites including outdoor eating experience the Beach Canteen at Sunset Beach, public-voted Hidden Gems (with the 10 finalists offering special menus for up to AED 35) and Dubai Restaurant Week, which gives food lovers a chance to try new places or revisit old favourites with tasty deals and fixed-price menus. Taste of Dubai also returns for its 12th outing at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
New for 2019 is a two-day Cheese Festival at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. We’ll Brie there for sure.
Last year’s Taste of Dubai, everybody’s favourite al fresco food, drink and live entertainment festival, set the bar high with a show by disco legends Sister Sledge and live cooking from celebrity chefs Sanjeev Kapoor, Reza Mahammad, Jenny Morris and Eric Lanlard. We can’t wait to see what they’re cooking up for this year!
Now we know that the swyp Beach Canteen will have a fresh new look, plus a games square and a sports court where we can burn off some energy. Dubai Resturant Week returns, with three-course set menus for AED 199 at some of the fanciest restaurants in town. So far more than 20 places have confirmed, including steakhouse Prime 68, Carnival By Trèsind and Morimoto Dubai. Book your table here.
Bargain eats are represented too, with DFF’s Hidden Gems. Vote for your favourite from a shortlist of 10. How many have you tried? Galeries Lafayette is holding a three-day street food fair in City Walk too.
For the first time there’ll be flash sales on groceries, homeware, dining equipment and kitchen appliances, so we can eat, drink AND shop.
