Certified fresh: Dubai Farmers’ market is back

One of the things that really signals winter is here is when you can finally buy fresh produce directly from producers as The Farmers’ Market on the Terrace comes out of summer hibernation.

That’s right the popular Farmers’ Market, where you can meet local farmers, stock up on veggies, fruit, eggs, honey and more, is back on starting in the first weekend of November and running all of the way through to May next year.

Not only is all that lovely fresh organic produce great for the body, visiting the market is definitely a boost for the soul. The local farmers get the space rent-free and get to sell directly to us and keep all of the profits. Prices are much lower than the supermarket and you can even have a go at haggling.

A short walk from Business Bay Metro Station, there is a play park and expect face painting and arts and craft activities too to keep the little shoppers busy too.

Bay Avenue, Business Bay. 1st-2nd November and weekly thereafter until May 2020. Contact: 04 886 6113, facebook.com/TheFarmersMarketOnTheTerrace
