Dubai, it’s time to roll with it and live forever.
British bad boy Liam Gallagher is coming to Dubai and he’s promised his set will include Oasis classics.
The former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman is to headline Party in the Park at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and more acts are set to be announced for the fourth outing of the annual music festival that takes place on Friday, 10th November.
He’ll be coming fresh from the October release of his debut solo album, ‘As You Were’, which is named in honour of the singer’s sign-off on Twitter.
We’re bound to hear tracks from that, as well as timeless Oasis numbers like ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ and ‘Wonderwall’ played by the band of British rock’n’roll heavyweights that form his touring line-up, including Babyshambles’ bassist Drew McConnell and Kasabian’s touring guitarist Jay Mahler.
Liam, 44, once famously said: “We will be as big as the Beatles, if not bigger” and by selling more than 70 million record worldwide, they were pretty much one of the biggest rock bands around, before a well-publicised split between Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel in 2009.
