Four big names are playing one night at the Irish Village

Fans of soul will want to head to The Irish Village this October, because some seriously big names are going to be there.

Soul Jam Dubai is bringing Alexander O’Neal, Omar, Jaki Graham and Mica Paris to the Garhoud party spot on Thursday, 5th October this year. Tickets are less than AED 200, which is pretty reasonable, considering one ticket gets you four world famous performers.

Alexander O’Neal

Signed by none other than Price, his silky smooth tones have been a familiar sound in the UK and US charts for three decades. Expect to boogie on down for his smash ‘Criticise’.

Omar

The father of new soul? You better believe it! 1990s hit ‘There’s Nothing Like This’ is olden but golden and we can’t wait to hear British soul pioneer Omar crooning it. Need to know – musical legend Stevie Wonder is a fan.

Jaki Graham

Three-time Grammy-nominated British R&B singer-songwriter Jaki is best know for her version of ‘Could it Be I’m Falling In Love?’ and her cover of Chaka Khan’s hit ‘Ain’t Nobody’. The lady has lungs.

Mica Paris

Writer, singer, actress; triple threat Mica hit the UK music scene in 1988 when she released her debut, platinum-selling album, So Good, from which she had her first top 10 smash, ‘My One Temptation’. She now regularly appears on UK TV and we’re pleased to be welcoming her to Dubai.

The Irish Village. Thursday, 5th October. Show starts at 9pm. Tickets AED 175, available at The Irish Village, Virgin Megastores and www.platinumlist.net.
