Four-legged friends don’t always have space to play in the UAE, but finally there’s an outdoor challenge they can get their teeth into.
Take a walk on the wildside at The Human & K9 Ultimate Challenge, the only extreme adventure for dogs and their owners.
The third edition of the non-competitive challenge will take place in the wadis of Ras Al Khaimah on 11th December.
Up to 300 participants and their pooches from all over the UAE will woof it up to hike up and down the mountain, with their faithful companions in tow.
The three to four trek is designed to leave you panting but is still suitable for all, with less experienced hikers having the option to turn back at checkpoints along route but be warned, it’s no walkies in the park.
“The challenge is designed to stimulate the body and mind of both human and canine, strengthening the bond between owner and animal in a fun and challenging day out” said Hussain Darwish, founder and co-organizer of The Human & K9 Challenge.
“After the overwhelming success of the previous two challenges and after a long summer of requests for more, we are delighted to announce the next challenge which will allow even more dogs and owners to participate, as well as providing more to see and do at the base to allow even more interaction between participants who all have their love of dogs in common.”
The registration fee is AED 250 for one person with one dog, AED 400 for two people with a maximum of two dogs, and AED 1,000 for a team of five people with a maximum of five dogs.
