Highway to Cluster J
UK AC/DC cover band The Dirty DC will be shredding live at McGettigan’s JLT on Thursday, from a monstrous catalogue of rock classics. The appearance comes soon after the sad news of AC/DC guitarist Malcom Young passing away last month. Head down if you’d like to pay tribute to the musical legend.

One of the world’s most prolific and respected conceptual artists, Olivier Mosset, will be exhibiting his work in the Middle East for the first time, at Alserkal Avenue. His beautiful exhibition ‘Abstraction’ features his trademark minimalism and monochromism.

Harry up, just a few tickets left
Dubai Opera is offering an opportunity to watch an enchanting operatically-enhanced version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The film will be screened on a 40 foot HD, with John Williams’ soundtrack played out LIVE, by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.

Après, the Mall of the Emirates’ wintery ski-view watering hole, is holding a special Christmas party on Friday. With spiced theme beverages and festive nibbles, and possibly even a visit from the man in the big red suit (no, not Spiderman), it’s a great way to kickstart your yuletide cheer.
