The Laughter Factory is kicking off an all-star tour across the UAE. Straight outta The Big Apple, Carmen Lynch brings her Fringe-tested hilarious live stand-up set, followed by Scottish comedian o’ the year, Mark Nelson and renowned mirth-monger Luke Toulson. Catch them on Thursday evening at The Mövenpick Hotel, JBR.

MOTB

Market Outside the Box (MOTB) returns allowing shoppers to do some al fresco browsing in some of Dubai’s most interesting outlets. The annual market at Burj Park will feature 120 regional designers, with artisanal curiosities from independent shops across the city.

Football Soccer

City Football Club has big plans for the next two years, with the aim of turning professional by 2019. The journey begins with a FREE football festival in Al Barsha.  If you have a Junior Juninho or keen-footed Kelly Smith in the family, this could be the start of their road to World Cup glory.

Obama Letterman

David Letterman is out of retirement with a monthly six-episode, Netflix talk show series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. The first episode will stream on Friday and influential guests includes George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey, Howard Stern and *mic drop* President Barack Obama.
