Ex-One Direction star Liam Payne is to play a live concert in Dubai and it’s going to be absolutely free.
Former 1D band member Liam, who hit the big time with one of the world’s biggest boy bands through TV talent show The X Factor, will be on stage at Global Village on Friday, 30th March. The 24 year old platinum recording artist now has a successful solo career that he wants to share with us, the music-lovers of Dubai.
Since going it alone, Payne’s music has been an ear-friendly mix of dance and R&B – first single ‘Strip That Down’ struck enough of a chord with listeners to hit number three in the British singles chart. We’re bound to hear his equally catchy latest single ‘For You’, with Rita Ora, which features on the new Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack.
Catch him on the Main Stage from 9pm, as part of Global Village’s weekly series of concerts. Once you’ve paid the AED 15 admission charge (online or at the gates), the gig is completely free.
Bring some spends though – Global Village is also a great place to try mouth-watering food from all around the world, do some shopping (and bargaining) and scream your way through exhilarating rides.
Here’s what else there is to see and do at Global Village.
