Blades of Dory

It’s a scientific fact that the word ‘Disney’ has the same effect on a child’s face as discovering large denomination banknotes scrunched up at the bottom of your pocket. Disney on Ice has come to town with ‘Passport to Adventure.’ It’s a magical theatrical performance and, from Elsa to Minnie, it will be strapping skates on the Kingdom’s biggest stars of past and present.

Diddy used to be called Puff?

Diddy is coming – the man whose name is as transient as the Defence Aginst The Dark Arts faculty of Hogwarts. A true global megastar, producer, rapper, actor and fashion designer will be in Dubai for the most fleeting of moments at new brand and brand-new super club Gotha. Oh and rap game buddy and multiple-time collaborator, Ludicris will be adding yet another layer of crunk on to proceedings at the same venue, the following night (Friday).

Promising Korea in music

The SMTown Live Tour has finally arrived. For fans of K-Pop in The Middle East, this concert is a huge deal, with some of the biggest names of the genre dropping their catchy hooks and impossibly coiffured looks all up in the Autism Rocks Arena for the very first time. Catch the likes of Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Girls’ Generation,  f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT U, NCT DREAM, TRAX and HENRY – all live and loud.

Middle East Comic Con

Geek mythology

All weekend Middle East Film and Comic Convention (Mefcc) will be taking over Dubai World Trade Centre. Thousands of cosplaying, fancy dress-sporting film, comic and video game fanatics will descend on the locale to experience exhibitions filled with a variety of fandom paraphernalia and Q&A sessions with the stars of screen and comic.

Wings of Angelz

It’s an event that relies on volunteers to spread the awareness of ramp access to businesses within a given area.
