The sun shines on Dubai as a-ha are taking on the emirate’s Opera Hosue as part of their ‘Hunting High And Low’ tour.
The gig in February 2020 marks the 35th anniversary of enduring pop classic and one of the catchiest tracks of all time, Take On Me, and the album it was taken from, ‘Hunting High And Low.’
The Dubai leg of the tour will be a one-night-only gig, at The Dubai Opera on 11th February that year.
On stage will be lead vocalist and high emperor of falsetto Morten Harket, keyboard legend Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Pål Waaktaar-Savoy. Together the Norwegian group have sold more than 55 million albums and stolen almost as many teenage hearts.
So, needless to say…tickets will be selling fast when they go on sale Tuesday (2nd July) at 5pm.
The format of the concert will include a huge nod to long-adoring a-ha fans – with the band performing the 10 songs on the 1985 album ‘Hunting High And Low’ in running order, with a few cheeky extras thrown in for good measure. This hopefully means a crowd-pleasing performance of their classic Bond theme, The Living Daylights.
