This beautiful flag-based mosaic was created especially for Flag Day and is a touching tribute to two visionaries that have helped shape our beloved UAE.
The billowing sculpture features Dubai’s ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
It’s a temporary structure comprised of 4,500 UAE flags, situated at Kite Beach, Umm Sequim. Erected for Flag Day (3rd November this year), those keen on catching a grounded view will still be able to visit the Flag Garden until the 10th December.
If you’re looking for a loftier view, you’ll struggle. There aren’t many high-rise towers around. JW Marriott Marquis with a pair of binoculars? Or The Four Seasons?
We’re pleased to report that we can save you some eye-strain, just check out the following video, captured by Brand Dubai, the team that conceived the work.
