Are you paying attention to how the UAE’s bucket list for adventure seekers just keeps getting bigger and bigger?

There’s world’s longest zipline coming to RAK, the globe’s largest ferris wheel rising from Dubai’s coastline, the long-awaited Dubai Frame that will offer as an observatory to the city’s skyline, and The Tower Creek tower set to be the tallest on the planet.

The adrenaline-hungry now have another must-do, as Emaar Properties announces the launch of the 200-metre high Sky Walk in Downtown Dubai.

Suspended between two skyscrapers at at level 53 of the under-construction Address Sky View, the exhilarating Sky Walk allows the brave to walk 45 metres through an observation tunnel to spectacular views of Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain.

Visitors who dare will be strapped into safety harness to walk a 30-metre cantilever with a weighing almost 250 tonnes. The Sky Walk has a total weight of almost 350 tonnes, and special high-capacity hydraulic jacks had to be imported from Switzerland to lift the two main steel pieces.

The bridge will stand between twin-tower complex Address Residences Sky View, which is a hotel and residential project scheduled to complete by 2018, when the skywalk will also be open to public.

This definitely doesn’t seem like it’s for the faint-hearted, however, if you manage to conquer your fears, the view is going to stunning.
