If you’re all about that dramatic life, this backstage tour of Dubai Opera is for you.

The performing arts centre (which has just marked its first anniversary) is inviting people to Access All Areas at Dubai Opera and discover its inner workings

Experienced stagehands will share the secrets of the purpose-built opera house in Arabic and English, (and other languages on request) and show visitors around the auditorium, including its exclusive VIP suite.

Tours start daily from 10.30am and take about 60 minutes. Adult tickets are AED 75 and AED 40 for children aged three-16.  Book at tours@dubaiopera.com

If you get hungry while you’re there, steak, seafood and great views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai are served up 12pm-2am from the rooftop terrace by Sean Connolly at Dubai Opera.
