ADNOC has announced its intention to roll out a three-tier system for fuelling vehicles. Called ADNOC Flex, customers can chose to self-pump, pay “a small fee” for assistance or take advantage of their special delivery service.
In addition to creating these three clearly delineated petrol packages the brand have committed to up-staffing. They’re increasing the number of attendant as well as providing all forecourt staff with additional training.
We spoke to ADNOC directly and as yet, the exact pricing point of the service cost for assisted fueling has not been revealed. The final implementation details, including costs, are expected to be announced by the middle of April and we will of course keep you updated with any developments to this story.
It will be interesting to see whether this model is replicated by other providers, and whether some residents will remain ‘too posh to pump.’
Let us know in the Facebook comments section whether or not you’d pay a fee to have your gas pumped for you, and if so – what sort of charge you would expect to receive.
