The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced the Ramadan work timings for the private sector.
As per Article 65 of Federal Law No. 8 of 1980, working hours for all private sector roles will be shortened by two hours for the month of Ramadan.
At the beginning of May, Ramadan school hours were announced – confirming that the schooling day should not exceed five hours.
These reduced hours apply to both Muslims and non-Muslims. We at Dubai Week would also like to remind you to take extra special care on the roads during your journeys home. We’ll be releasing a guide on driving safety tips very shortly, to ensure we all get around safely.
Ramadan kareem Dubai!
