As the air-conditioned inside of our car becomes more enjoyable over the summer, here’s some news about fuel prices that might make you want to turn down the dial.

The Ministry of Energy has just announced what drivers will be paying at the pumps from 1st June – and there’s a rise across the board.
Super 98 unleaded has gone from AED 2.49 last month to 2.63 – a rise of 14 fils.
Special 95 unleaded has gone up to AED 2.51, rising from AED 2.37 (that’s an increase of 14 fils).
Diesel has also increased, going to AED 2.71 from AED 2.56, a 15 fil increase.
If you haven’t filled your tank already, it would be a good idea to top up before midnight on 31st May. Remember, all prices given are per litre and include VAT.
Fuel prices are announced towards the end of the month and we’ll continue to share the latest prices with you once announced by the Ministry Of Interior.
