A loyalty scheme for Metro riders has been launched

nol card

We already know we can swipe nol cards for much more than travelling on Dubai’s super speedy public transport system.

As well as paying for taxis, Metro, bus, tram rides and more, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plastic smart tickets can buy groceries at more than 1,000 outlets and be used for parking.

Now loyalty scheme nol Plus rewards regular riders. Register your nol card and you’ll get one point for every AED 1 you spend. Convert these to vouchers and spend them at attractions and places to eat around Dubai. So far, brands on board include Magic Planet, London Fish & Chips, OSN and Cha Cha Chai.

You get 500 points (worth AED 5) just for signing up and registering your nol card also unlocks discounts at participating retailers.

One of the first public transport reward schemes in the region, the RTA launched nol plus at tech expo Gitex 2018, along with driverless cabs, an automated AI Chat Bot to answer customer queries, and robot cleaners for Dubai Metro stations.

Sign up at www.nolplus.ae, where you can also top up your registered nol card.
