If you live in a neighbourhood of Dubailand, then congrats, you’ve got a new bus service!
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) introduced the route between Dubai Mall Metro Station and the Sky Court area.
The Route 30 service will make stops along the way, including Nad Al Shiba, Road 2, Liwan Entrance, Liwan Mazaya 18, Liwan Mazaya 99, Liwan Mazaya 6, Liwan Mazaya 10A, Eppco, Muntazah Petrol Station 1.
That’s good news for residents of the AED 1.6 billion Skycourts development, near Dubai Outlet Mall, which has nearly 3,000 apartments across six towers.
Buses start at 9am from The Dubai Mall and run up until 8.30pm weekdays and 10.15pm weekends. The journey each way takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and should cost your nol card AED 7.50 (transport isn’t the only thing you can use your nol card to pay for, FYI).
The RTA recently launched six new bus services, including the shopper express Route 50, which runs between International City, Dragon Mart and Al Khail Gate 1 via Silicon Oasis, Dubai Mall and Business Bay.
Adel Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development, Public Transport Agency, RTA, says: “Buses deployed on this route will shuttle between Dubai Mall Metro Station and Dubai Sky Courts via several localities such as and other districts and landmarks all the way to Dubai Sky Courts.”
