A loyalty scheme for Metro riders is now even easier to use.
nol Plus rewards regular riders with points that convert to vouchers to spend on your commute, or at brands including Magic Planet, London Fish & Chips, OSN and Cha Cha Chai.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has now added the rewards programme to its app. What’s the RTA app, you cry? Only the easiest way to pay for parking, book a taxi and now collect nol loyalty points for every dirham we spend.
So far more than 27,000 commuters have signed up for the scheme, which gives one point per two dirhams spent to gold and silver card holders and a point per dirham for those with a personalised blue or gold nol card.
It’s hoped it will encourage more people to sign up for nol cards, which can also be used to pay for fuel at Emirates National Oil Company filling stations and groceries at Zoom and Circle K stores. Abdul Aziz Al Falahi, CEO of Corporate Technology Support Services Sector at the RTA, says: “nol+ programme is mainly aimed to encourage the digitalisation of payments using the latest technology means of nol cards, and therefore scale down cash transactions and eliminate manual paper tickets.”
Sign up at www.nolplus.ae, where you can also top up your registered nol card.
