Dubai Frame wins tourism award and we can totally see why

Dubai Frame

Dubai Frame just landed another award, which is a great excuse to share these stunning photos.

Words by Ayush Narayanan

The towering attraction just won the best leisure tourism attraction in the nationally recognised MEED Project Awards. It’s the only government-run building to win in this category in 2019, FYI.

More than a million visitors have checked out the AED 160 million project’s gold towers and 150-metre high glass bridge since it opened in 2018.

Metro riders travelling between ADCB and Al Jafiliya love to snap a shot of the gold coloured Frame. We can’t fault them, because it looks glorious in the sunlit skyline. Even at night, the building is stunning – lit up in warm colours that cast a gentle glow on its home of Zabeel Park.

The Frame’s 360-degree views and a glass floor that you can walk over also make it a favourite with tourists. From one side, you can catch great views of new Dubai and the Burj Khalifa and on the other, the older heart of the city and Dubai Creek. Both are sure to take your breath away.

As well as spectacular vistas, entry to Dubai Frame includes an interactive exhibition that tells the story of Dubai past and present and access to the beautiful surroundings of Zabeel Park.

Of course, it’s not the first accolade Dubai Frame has received. In 2018, it was awarded the Excellence Award at the Fourth Theme Parks and Entertainment Development Forum, and also the Best Performance of the Year Award at the Aspire Summit.

Dubai Frame. Buy tickets from Gate 4 Zabeel Park or online here. Tickets AED 50 for adults and AED 20 for children (free entry for under threes and people of determination). Open 9am-9pm daily.
