The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced the Ramadan working hours for the private sector.
Working days for private sector employees will be shortened by two hours for the month of Ramadan, as per Article 65 of Federal Law No. 8 of 1980.
School hours during the Holy Month will also be shorter, it’s been confirmed.
These reduced hours apply for one month to both Muslims and non-Muslims.
The Holy Month of Ramadan began on Monday, 6th May and Shawaal is expected to start on Wednesday, 5th June.
