Invitations have gone out for Dubai’s Royal wedding.
Obviously, ours is still in the post and will arrive really soon.
Three sons of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai were married in a joint ceremony on Wednesday, 15th May.
That event was private, but we now know there’ll be a more public wedding reception during the Eid holidays, on 6th June.
Among the happy trio is His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. He married Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum.
His brothers, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, also got married.
Not everyone is invited to what’s set to be the bash of 2019, of course, but thousands are expected to attend the event at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Snaps of the inscribed gold invites were shared on social media by some of the lucky guests. We’re sure ours is on its way, honest.
