The Killers are the 2nd act to be announced for the F1 afterparty


Look on the bright side – American rockers The Killers are coming to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this December!

They’ve got hips, but they’re not a bunch of hipsters…

Leadman Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr (drums) are slated to close out this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, 1st December.

How did it end up like this? 

Formed in 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the band is known for incorporating elements of alternative rock with new wave and pop into its music.

The multi-awarded winning band has so far released five studio albums, producing huge sing-a-long hits like ‘Somebody Told Me’‘Smile Like You Mean It’‘Human’ ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ and the anthemic ‘Mr Brightside’.


The Yasalam concerts are free to attend for race ticket-holders and take place adjacent to the iconic Yas Marina Circuit where the Formula 1 action takes place.

In May, it was announced that American rapper Travis Scott will form part of the event’s artist line-up and will be performing on 29th November, Friday.
