Dubai Police has warned residents to beware of thieves posing as holidaymakers.
The fake vacationers are asking people in the emirate to exchange money for them. However, the bills the ‘tourists’ are handing out are fake.
Dubai’s force posted the warning on its social media channels to give us all a heads up about the tourists scam.
Police remind people only to use authorised currency exchanges and to keep receipts of transactions.
