It’s that time again – gas prices have been confirmed for September 2019 and the great news is… they’re down.
The UAE Ministry of Energy tells us what we’ll pay to fuel our cars up, with the new costs set to come into force from 1st September.
Here’s what fuel’s going to cost from next month, including VAT:
- Super 98 petrol will down to AED 2.28, from AED 2.37 per litre
- Special 95 petrol will be AED 2.16, compared to AED 2.26 a litre in August
- A litre of diesel has been dropped to AED 2.38 – it was AED 2.42 per litre this month

To celebrate the drop, how about some inspiration for a road trip over the (long?) weekend. Check out our favourite things to do this weekend – it’s a gas.
Here’s a smart way to save money in the filling station – download this Adnoc app and you’ll get free assisted refuelling at its stations between 11am-5pm in July and August.
