Two new feel-good light shows are coming to the Burj Khalifa.
The world’s tallest tower is a massive LED canvas that’s regularly refreshed with eye-catching content.
For September, the Burj Khalifa bears the work of visual artists Anthony Birland and Karl Taylor Knight.
Birland brings together arcade games and mobiles phones that didn’t need a daily charge in a colourful show that “captures the nostalgia of the 1980s and 90s.”
‘Summer Done,’ by Knight, whose work has previously appeared on the 830-metre skyscraper, celebrates summer days coming to a close with juicy watermelons and lively music. Karl, we are feeling you.
Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai. Free. Sunday-Wednesday, every hour from 7.45pm to 10.45pm. Thursday-Saturday, every 30 minutes from 7.45pm to 10.45pm.
