ADNOC to waive assisted fuelling fee

Remember earlier this year when ADNOC petrol stations started charging people for the use of pump attendants? As of Sunday, that will no longer be the case.

Getting those hard-working individuals to pump the petrol for you, will once again be free, but you’re still going to be charged for the petrol.

Of course, tipping is still very much an option.

The move to abolish the charge comes after ADNOC received feedback from customers via a recent marketing survey it carried out.

In a press statement, ADNOC’s Distribution’s acting CEO, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, said that the decision to bring back free assisted fuelling was approved by the Board of Directors.

In summer 2019, ADNOC rolled out an app that allowed motorists who downloaded the app to have their petrol pumped by assistants for free.

And if you want to know how much you’ll be paying at the pump for the month of November, you can find out here.
