Former Fugee and multiple Grammy-winner, Ms. Lauryn Hill is the first act to be announced for February’s Dubai Jazz Festival.
Ready or not here she comes…
As a solo artist she’s best known for her soul-celebrating tracks ‘Doo-Wop (That Thing)’ and ‘Ex-Factor.’ But for many, she’ll be remembered as one of the founding members of Fugees, a hip hop group that lit a melodic-rap fire under the 90s music scene.
Emirates Dubai Jazz Festival shared the news across their social media platforms, along with the dates for the event – which fall between 26th and 28th February 2020. With Lauryn Hill opening on the 26th along with fellow announcee, Bruno Major.
We’re also delighted to learn that the festival will be returning to popular outdoor venue, Media City Amphitheatre.

Expect more big announcements to come in the following days, but in the meantime, we’ll leave you with the soothing rhythms of Ms. Hill herself.
