And most of the top spots are taken up by the usual suspects but there are some wild cards thrown in for good measure too.
It’s Dubailand that retains the top spot with 8.56 per cent of all move-in requests. The area features popular villa complexes and importantly – family-friendly quantities of space.
The area’s comparatively lower rents to similar, more central areas also make it attractive, as do the local leisure facilities, theme parks and malls. Finally, the large number of new developments and ongoing projects (the most of any area in fact) are providing a continually growing supply of hyper-modern fit-outs and amenities.
This data comes directly from a survey conducted by Servicemarket.com, which found Dubai Marina & JBR (8.34 per cent of new move-in requests) and Business Bay, DIFC & Downtown (7.77 per cent) to be the second and third most popular neighbourhoods.
Not least due to the density of entertainment, leisure and business facilities in the area.
Another interesting trend spotted by the survey was around one-third of Dubai residents moved within the same area. A figure that increases to almost half for the residents in Dubai Marina, JBR, Business Bay, DIFC, Downtown/Burj Khalifa, and JVC, JVT.
Once you unpack in those high-rises you might never go back.
