The first headliners for RedFestDXB have been announced

The first names of the RedFestDxb 2020 line-up have been dropped, and it’s a spicy mix of hip-hop, house and indie pop-rock.

Earlier this week we got the news that Brit rapper Stormzy was coming to Dubai. Now we know why. He’s joining American hip-hop artist – Machine Gun Kelly, future bass DJs – Cheat Codes and local DJ legend Danny Neville on Friday 7th February’s billing.

On the opening night, Thursday 6th February – there’ll be jump-up EDM anthems from Martin Garrix, trap sounds from Young Thug and sing-along indie rock from Bastille.

Tickets are on sale now, from AED 395 for one day passes or from AED 695 for the weekend. You can purchase tickets through www.platinumlist.net, www.virginmegastore.me, 800Tickets and book my show.

The RedFestDXB organisers teased that there are still more names yet to be announced, and that… gets us excited. Macklemore’s performance at the 2019 festival was one of our stand-out live music experiences of the year. And it looks like they’re repeating the successful formula of layering quality hop-hop artists with crowd igniting EDM DJs for 2020.

Tickets from AED 395. 6th-7th February 2020, Media City Amphitheatre, www.platinumlist.net.
