Yes, Enrique Iglesias is really going to perform on water at The Pointe

Enrique Iglesias

The King of Latin Pop himself, Enrique Iglesias, is returning to Dubai for an unusual gig.

Spanish superstar Iglesias is to perform live at stunning new waterfront destination The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah on 14th December. Catch the singer-songwriter making a splash at a one-off show, on a purpose-built stage that’s actually on water.

With a career spanning 20 years and 10 studio albums, classics numbers are sure to pack Enrique’s Friday evening show, whether the crowds are crooning along to ‘Hero’ or bopping to ‘I Like It.’

Get there early, because the event starts at 4pm with an unmissable line up of acts and entertainment. Groove to the sounds of a DJ before Enrique himself comes on stage at 9pm. After the 90-minute show, there’s a party and fireworks show for gig-goers until 3am.

Make sure to hang on to your tickets – the AED 150 entry includes AED 115 to redeem on dining at some of The Pointe’s restaurants until 22nd December.

Getting there is super easy too – there’ll be shuttle buses between The Palm Jumeirah Monorail and Al Ittihad Park to The Pointe, from 3pm-2.30am. Coming by taxi? RTA cabs, Careem and Uber cars can also drop off at Al Ittihad Park so you can hop on a shuttle bus. Parking is available at the Monorail, but it’s limited.

Dubai last enjoyed a whole lot of Iglesias at Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival in 2017 and we’re looking forward to another dose of his trademark charm and high-energy hits.

He’s back to officially launch Nakheel’s lifestyle destination and shopping destination on The Palm. With 70 restaurants and shops set to open there and a 1.5 kilometre promenade that’s perfect for an al freso evening stroll, there are more than ‘uno, dos, tres’ reasons to go.

From 4pm, Friday, 14th December. Tickets AED 150 (including VAT), with AED 115 redeemable at various dining outlets at The Pointe until 22nd December. Tickets available at
