Where to donate your unwanted clothes

There’s a quick and easy way to donate pre-loved clothes this Ramadan.

Look out for big blue boxes branded with the message ‘Share a Touch of Love’.

The donation stations are in six different Dubai communities for the remainder of the Holy Month. Find them in Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bay Avenue and Bay Square in Business Bay, Mudon Community Centre, Al Khail Gate Community Centre and Shorooq Community Centre.

All you need to do is put all your clothes in a bag, and then put the bag into one of the boxes. It’s that simple.

The clothes will then be collected and washed before being distributed to those in need, with the help of Emirates Red Crescent.

Dubai Holding and Unilever brands Comfort and OMO come together every year during Ramadan for the ‘Share a Touch of Love’  donation campaign and are running it for the ninth year in 2019.

Last year collected around 200,000 items of clothing for men, women and children.

For more easy ways to give back, stock your nearest Ramadan Fridge, take toys to less fortunate kids or volunteer at an iftar kitchen
