Next level nail art to trick out your manicure. We check out the places in Dubai that will make people pause to admire your claws.
The Art Bar at The Nail Spa, Jumeirah Beach Road
Dedicated to making your talons terrific, The Nail Spa’s two dedicated Art Bars have a huge range of amazing nail art, with new collections every season.
Prices start from AED 15 ‘quickies’ up to POA for the Michelangelo service, where your nails become a 3D canvas. This slick and well-established beauty hangout also offers nail art 101 classes, so you can try to recreate hot looks at home.
Daily 9am-9pm, The Nail Spa Art Bar at Jumeirah Beach Road and Mall of the Emirates. www.thenailspa.com/600 544 001
The Dollhouse, Dubai Ladies’ Club
Since the owner is Mona Kattan, sister of UAE’s very own beauty guru Huda Beauty, it’s no surprise that they are incredibly good at all the services they offer.
If you’re looking to get some bling out your nails, this is your go-to destination for super-sparkly Swarovski crystals, which are an extra AED 2-10 on top of your mani. Extra points for the adorably friendly staff.
The Dollhouse, The Dubai Ladies’ Club (next to the Four Seasons Resort, Jumeirah Beach Road). 04 385 4484. 9am-10pm, daily.
Black and White Salon, JLT
We found this gem in JLT’s Cluster G and although its stylists are better known for their hair services, it’s their nail art skills that keep them on our speed dial. They also score big for affordable packages and crazy cool 3D acrylic nail.
Black and White Salon. Jumeirah Business Centre 1, Cluster G, Jumeirah Lakes Tower. Daily 11am-9pm. 04 447 80 41.
SoH, Galleria Mall, Al Wasl
We’re convinced that the nail technicians can create almost anything you want. Simple nail designs that take a few minutes cost AED 25 when they’re done polish and AED 35 in a longer-lasting gel.
Not only can you get some really creative and unique nail art done in the salon that doubles up as an art gallery, but they also offer adornments for hair and body.
Galleria Mall, Al Wasl Road. Daily 10am-10pm, Thursday and Friday midnight. 04 344 4147. www.soh.ae
We Nails, Dubai Marina
This place is so up-to-date on all the hottest trends that it’s worth taking on the Marina traffic. For the digitally indecisive, the nail technicians here always give us some really great suggestions – from cute little cupcakes to some sassy text, they do it all. Depending on what you go for, it’ll set you back from AED 5-30 per nail.
They’re also happy to say those three little words that mean so much to Dubai dwellers – FREE VALET PARKING!
Skyview Tower, Al Sufouh Tower, after Skydive Dubai. Daily 10am-9pm. www.wenails.ae
Galina’s Beauty Salon, Al Barsha 1
Don’t underestimate Galina’s team, tucked away behind Mall of the Emirates! They pay a lot of attention to detail and whether you’re looking for something sweet and simple or utterly out there, they have your back!
From as little as AED 10 add art, 3D designs, crystals and glitter to your hands and feet and get ready to dazzle.

Nail Art Salon, Barsha Heights
The dons of nail art hideout in Barsha Heights. The Korean owners have brought a vast area of creative ideas to the fingertips of Dubai divas and you’ll often struggle to find a chair spare at this busy little salon. Seasonal themes, reasonable prices and mind-blowingly detailed freehand work keep us heading to The Heights. A full mani pedi is from just AED 150 too.
