Fancy a trip up the newly-crowned World’s Tallest Hotel? You don’t need to book a stay at Gevora Hotel to appreciate its record-breaking height.
Visitors can now take trips to rooftop of the 356-metre tall tower, which opened as a hotel on 12th February. Entry costs AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for children up to 12, while six-and-unders go free. For now you can’t buy tickets in advance, so you’ll need to go to the hotel between 10am-9pm. Make sure you hang on to the ticket stub, as it includes a voucher for a drink and pasty from the hotel’s Le Veyron Café (that must be redeemed on the same day).
From mid-March the rooftop of the dry hotel – which has some pretty epic views over Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa – will also become a prime chill-out spot, serving shisha and Arabic and international food. The hotel also plans to open a Middle Eastern restaurant called Level Twelve and a pool bar serving soft drinks and healthy snacks.
Promising to “raise 4-star hospitality to new heights,” each of the hotel’s 528 rooms comes with its own butler and there are separate gyms for men and women.
