Collaboration between “Dubai Girls” and Dubai Marine Sports Club

The Dubai Women’s Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai International Marine Sports Club to cooperate in organizing various activities to support the development of the organization on both sides, to organize marine sports events for women throughout the year, and to employ human beings. Their expertise and technical skills contribute to opening the way for women to participate in maritime sports and benefit from the modern sports facilities of the Dubai Ladies Club, a member of the Dubai Women’s Foundation.

The memorandum – signed by Shamsa Saleh, Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Women’s Foundation, and Mohammed Abdullah Hareb Al Falahi, Managing Director of Dubai International Marine Club – provides for the promotion of services. Subsidiaries of both parties, to develop them to the highest standards and organize joint workshops related to their fields of work.

Shamza Saleh said, “This note comes within the framework of the Dubai Women’s Foundation’s initiatives to translate the vision and guidelines of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, Sheikha Manal Bint, Chairman of the Emirates Council for Gender Equality and Chairman of the Dubai Women’s Foundation, Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Ladies Club, by providing all kinds of support to women in various fields, including encouraging them to practice sports in various fields, and qualifying them to participate in local and international maritime sports events, strengthening the club’s leadership in women’s sports and in this field.

Shamsa Saleh pointed out that the memorandum enhances Dubai Women’s efforts in creating effective strategic partnerships in the Women’s File and helps them to foretell the future and play an important role as one of the key pillars of the Foundation’s work strategy.

For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Hareb Al Falahi thanked Her Highness Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the attention, follow-up and support of efforts to advance women in various fields, including sports. He explained that the memorandum was signed within the framework of the efforts of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Club. According to the guidelines of the Dubai Government and the Dubai Sports Council, the emirate should become the first sports destination in the region.” and the Middle East”, pointing out that the signing of the memorandum is in line with the updated strategic plan. (2021-2027) The club opens up opportunities to collaborate with sports organizations in the emirate to serve the local community.

He emphasized that this collaboration will make a big difference and increase the chances of success of the events, as well as the willingness of the female component to practice sea sports in accordance with professional regulatory standards.
