Dubai wins to host “Public Transport Union Summit” in 2026


During the work of the summit held in Barcelona, ​​Spain, the World Public Transport Federation announced that Dubai, represented by the Roads and Transport Authority, won the World Public Transport Federation World Summit 2026. Agenda (D33) aims to consolidate Dubai’s position among the top three economic cities in the world, cement its global leadership as a preferred destination for hosting international events, and secure the trust of international companies and institutions. He added, “RDA has previously adopted a strategy (Zero-Emissions Public Transport in the Emirate of Dubai by 2050), which is the first agency in the Middle East region to develop a long-term strategy to shift towards public transport with NET. (Zero) emissions by 2050.”
