Gran Turismo7 Servers have been reset after 24 hours of unexpected and unprecedented downtime. The entire experience has been largely unplayable over the past day, as the PlayStation 5 and PS4 require an internet connection to save gameplay progress. Weighing in at 354.5 MB, the new update brings the version back online.
Here are the patch notes from Polyphony Digital:
- Fixed an issue where car collection did not appear in used cars and dealerships of antique cars
- Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes not be able to play, without advancing to the world map

Honestly, this is a terrible statement, and two weeks after its release, it is a shame to see the lovingly received version fall into these obvious traps. Gran Turismo 7 is a great racing game With some great content in the series’ glorious history, but acting as sports economy modes that reveal the “value and rarity” of real cars is an absurd statement.
Unfortunately, just days after the release of the critically acclaimed game, Polyphony Digital will now have to work hard to save face and restore the reputation of this release. The real mistake made unknowingly!
