Expo 2020 Dubai recorded 8,067,012 visits from October 1 to December 26, with more than 8,99,000 visits in its last week amid stringent precautionary measures to curb the spread of the corona virus.

The number of virtual visits through the digital platforms of “Expo 2020 Dubai” reached 37 million during the same period.

Expo 2020 Dubai aims to protect against visitors, workers and site participants by taking tough safety measures to combat the infection, and wearing muzzles indoors and outdoors is mandatory during these activities.

As Expo 2020 celebrated Christmas, with thousands of spectators flocking from within and outside the country, various events over the past week saw visitors safely participate in these celebrations, and many benefited from festive tickets worth 95 dirhams. Valid until December 31st.

Shauna McGee, vice president of communications at Expo 2020 Dubai, said the date of the press conference has been changed to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting next week.
