The Chinese company Honor, the maker of smart phones, officially launched today, Monday, with its new series “Honor 70” coming in the middle category, with various specifications and settings including three versions, which will greatly appeal to the youth.

The basic version of the new series of phones, called the “HONOR 70”, comes with a large 6.67-inch “OLED” screen, “FHD +” resolution and a 120Hz upgrade rate with curved edges. The screen supports HDR 10 with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

The new smartphone is powered by US company Qualcomm’s powerful “Snapdragon 778G +” processor, which comes with up to 12GB of random access memory (RAM) and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The phone works with the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box with the “Magic UI 6.1” interface of the “traditional Honor”.

The phone weighs 178 grams and is 7.91 mm thick, although the dual screen panel is characterized by its thinness and lightness. The phone has a built-in fingerprint reader screen.

The “HONOR 70” phone supports multiple communication options such as fifth generation (5G) and fourth generation (4G or LTE), “Wi-Fi 802.11ax” dual-band (2.4GHz / 5GHz), and “Bluetooth 5.2”. And “GPS” and “USB Type-C” and the phone has a 4800 mAh battery that can charge up to 66 watts.

For taking photos, the phone has a three-rear camera system, a 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-white lens and a third 2-megapixel depth sensor.

On the front, the phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Honor 70 Pro

The phone comes with the same type of screen as the base version, but it is slightly larger and comes with a size of 6.78 inches. The screen is quad curved, i.e. slightly curved at the top and bottom. Also the processor was changed to “MediaTek Dimensity 8000” category. Also when the battery capacity is slightly reduced at 4,500mAh, the charging speed will increase up to 100W.

The camera on the phone has also changed. While the main and ultra-white sensors remain the same, the depth sensor is replaced by an 8 MP telephoto “3x” lens with Ultra-White Optical Stabilization (OIS). The selfie camera also has a resolution of 50 megapixels. The phone weighs about 192 grams.

+ Honor 70 Pro

The phone’s settings and specifications are the same as on the “Pro” phone with two exceptional changes. The first change comes in upgrading the processor to the “MediaTek Dimensity 9000” chip, which is considerably faster, while the second change is a strange drawback because there is no 512GB storage option, and the phone only supports 256GB storage capacity.
