The United Arab Emirates recorded 8 earthquakes in southern Iran, two of the most powerful of which measured 6.3 on the Richter scale.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — The National Meteorological Center in the Emirates recorded 8 earthquakes in southern Iran that occurred between Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

Five people were killed and 19 injured in the early stages of a 6.1-magnitude earthquake that struck Iran’s southern Hormozkhan province early Saturday morning, Iran News Agency reported. .”

The Center issued a series of tweets about these earthquakes and their timing, which read as follows:

1- Stations of National Seismic Monitoring Network of “National Meteorological Center” recorded a strong earthquake. 4.7 Degree – Richter in Southern Iran at 18:04 Equivalent of 07/01/2022, UAE Local Time.

2- Stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Meteorological Center” recorded a strong earthquake. 4.1 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 23:28 corresponding to 01/07/2022 local time of UAE.

3- Stations of National Seismic Monitoring Network of “National Meteorological Center” were recorded. Strong earthquake 6.3 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 01:32 local time of UAE on 07/02/2022, the earthquake was felt in different parts of the country and had no effect.

4- Stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Meteorological Center” recorded a strong earthquake. 4.6 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 02:43 local time of UAE on 02/07/2022 equivalent.

5- Stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Meteorological Center” recorded a strong earthquake. 4.4 Degree – Richter in South Iran at 03:13 Equator on 02/07/2022 UAE local time.

6- Stations of National Seismic Monitoring Network of “National Meteorological Center” were registered. Strong earthquake 6.3 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 03:24 local time of UAE on 02/07/2022, the earthquake was felt in different parts of the country and had no effect in the country.
