- Bylines are included on editorial content to acknowledge authorship and accountability.
- When content is updated or corrected, we provide a note to inform readers.
- We welcome feedback, clarifications, and corrections from readers at editor@dubaiweek.ae.
4) Ethics and Responsibility
- We adhere to principles of respect, fairness, and non-discrimination in our reporting.
- Sensitive topics are handled with care to avoid harm while ensuring the public’s right to know.
- We do not knowingly publish false or misleading information.
5) Editorial Independence from Advertising
- Our newsroom operates separately from our advertising and commercial teams.
- Editorial content is not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or partners.
- Any conflicts of interest are disclosed openly.
6) Plagiarism and Originality
- All published work must be original or properly attributed to the source.
- We do not tolerate plagiarism and use editorial checks to prevent it.

9) Corrections Policy

- Significant factual corrections are updated in the original article with a clear note of correction.
- Minor changes (e.g., typographical errors) may be corrected without formal notice.
11) Contributed and Paid-for Content
- Dubai Week publishes articles from our own editorial team and from third-party contributors. Articles marked “Contributed content” are written by a third party, who may have paid a placement fee for publication. They are published because our editors judged them relevant and useful to readers; they do not necessarily reflect the views of Dubai Week.
- What we check. Every contributed article is checked before publication for originality (plagiarism screening), accuracy of stated facts and figures, suitability for our readers, and compliance with our content rules. Links included by contributors are reviewed for relevance and safety and are re-checked after publication.
- What we do not accept. Content promoting pharmaceuticals, adult services, weapons, payday loans, essay writing services, or schemes promising guaranteed returns; content that is misleading, defamatory or infringes copyright; and any topic outside the site’s editorial scope.
