Exciting statement from Pharaohs’ new national team coach: “I’m an Egyptian like you” (Video)

The new coach of Egypt’s national team, Portuguese Roy Vitoria, said on Wednesday that he is very proud to be in a country that “loves football” and is looking to develop other stars of the size and value of international Mohamed Salah. Liverpool player.

The 52-year-old former Benfica and Al-Nasr coach took charge earlier this month for four years after national coach Ihab Kalal was sacked after three games in the job.

Vitoria in a press conference, to present it to the media and the public, said, “I have now become an Egyptian. We have a long way to go, I need the support of all Egyptians, I hope that we will all be one hand. .”

“I’ve worked with many clubs and most of the teams I’ve worked with for four years and I’m happy to lead a team with a plan. So I agreed to coach the Egyptian national team because it has a plan with 100 million supporters. People.

He added, “I have many ideas to work with the youth in the national teams. I studied the Egyptian player very well. He has big ambitions and gradually we can develop the skills of the Egyptian player.

“As for Mohamed Salah, I don’t want to talk about one particular player. I like teamwork. Salah is a great international player, but our aim is to create more than one copy of Salah. We will take care of all the players.”

For his part, the president of the Egyptian Football Association, Kamal Allam, said the board of directors wanted to sign Vitoria for four years to give them the chance to achieve “achievements”.

He added at the press conference, “We are very confident that the new coach will fulfill the aspirations of Egyptian football fans and that he will have everyone’s support for his next assignment.”

“The Portuguese coach has a respectable personality and knows a lot about Egypt and Egyptian football,” said Hazem Emam, a board member of the Egyptian Federation behind Vitoria’s selection.

He added, “We will strive to develop, so the contract was for four years, and we hope to support his work for success. The path is not difficult, but at the same time not easy.”

Vitoria won the Portuguese league twice with Benfica from 2015 to 2019, along with the Portuguese Cup.

He then moved to Al-Nasr and won the Saudi Professional League title and the Saudi Super Cup in the 2018-2019 season. His last stop was last year with Russia’s Spartak Moscow.

The Egyptian Federation quickly abandoned the National Coach Excise Service after one win and two defeats, one of which was a friendly.
